Wow same price as lego and prime shipping!!!
The reviewer above must not have noticed this is the exact same price as lego store and with free shipping. I will say 2 sets are available here and 1 is [...]$ higher but this isn't it!! great price and great shipping!
Not to mention one of the best sets lego has ever made, it would be worth [...]$ more for the value of play!! From the blacksmith to the stabels to the market! this set is awesome! Definetely going to be worth about 3-4 times purchase price in about 10 years!! great for collecting.
You get a big tree!! 2 cows, 2 chickens, 1 duck, a horse, a carront, a frog, a whole cooked turkey not just it's legs!! apples, flowers, fish!!, a rat, a hairbrush, a bed a dresser, a stove, a fireplace a treasure chest!!
This is one massive set really great! It is not in numbered bags, some will love that, some like me won't!! 1601+ extra pieces and no numbered bags!! Ok it was kinda fun sifting for hours through a mountian of bricks saying, they didn't give me that piece!! Only to find 1 hour later they did YAHHHHHY!!!!
I like that the houses can be displayed open or closed!! The waterwheel on the blacksmiths shop actually drives a hammer on the inside!! That inturn hits a sword on a forge!! really cool!
All in all this is a really cool set, with a little imagination it can be the center of your castle set universe!! I have it on baseplates for display with the king riding by from the castle on his battle chariot, some dwarfs buying flowers at the market!! some dwarfs and knights getting weapons from the blacksmith An Indian riding bareback on his painted steed!! not castle but cool. Some soldiers enjoying some turkey and cheese! with whine straight from the lego barrel included with tap!!
Yeah I can't see anything but 5 stars for this set!! Great Price Free 2day shipping!! Thank you Amazon!!! |

| This is phenomenal. I bought this set for my oldest who is seven. Not only does it have over 1,600 pieces but the details are just amazing. We found this set for 100.00 dollars at a local lego store, and it is the best set we have collected to date. Aside from the hours of fun your child will have putting this together, the village houses can be closed for quick and easy storgae. Many of our sets end up diassembled, but I am confident this one will stay together for a long time. I even joked with my son that he shouldn't be surprised if one morning he woke up and found me playing with it. This was a great buy at 100.00. I also like that it was not divided into bags. My son was forced to figure out a system for organizing the 1,600 pieces to assist in the building process. I have always been a huge fan of legos, but this set blew me away. Aside from the fact that your child will improve his dexterity, he/she is forced to follow detailed directions and develop his/her spacial orientation skills, and that is only with the assembly. Afterwards he/she is presented with endless oppurtunities to let his/her imagination go wild. One thing my son really liked about this set was the number of figurines, and there were quite a few. Great set. Enjoy. |

| I only bought it recently from Lego and I really enjoy looking at the details and marvel at the whole construction from every angle. The minifigs, the animals, the food etc are all rare pieces. The ability to fold the houses makes it compact and even portable. The colours are fabulously vibrant and cheerful. Architectural details of a Medival style is impressively detailed by using bricks, which itself is ingenius. I love Lego and own a good number of sets. This is one of my favourites and is the best til date. I've ordered the Architecture series through Amazon and will post my reviews here too soon. Hope they don't disappoint me! |
Superb!

| As always Legos are the best toys ever invented, however this may be the first time I am concerned that several keys pieces appear to be be missing! |
