Great construction vehicle, more realistic than older sets.

I have been a lego collector for several years and the new construction vehicles they have been coming out with are great!!! Over the years the instructions with lego sets have become more simple to read and understand and the sets hold up great. Better construction and new style of parts have made things much better looking and they don't fall apart as easily. I would highly recommend this and other sets for anyone who likes the city series and collectors.
Wonderful toy

Great purchase for children between 5 and 8 years old who enjoy putting Legos together or building cars, trucks, or anything that can eventually be played with.
Cant go wrong with Legos!

Another good addition to the Lego family. My 4-year old son loves it. Couldn't quite put it together by himself, but almost. The instructions were pretty clear and specific.
What's not to love?

Legos are just awesome. They are packed with educational value and are fun at the same time. Your kid(s) can imagine, create, and play. I grew up with Lego's and now my children have them. Lego just keeps coming out with great ideas and concepts.
Very fun low-cost Lego

This set is part of Lego's 2009 City line. For playability and value for money ($[...]) the front-end loader deserves five stars. I also like the fact that it uses mostly common Lego pieces (rather than specialized shapes). It doesn't get five stars because when kids play with it, they have an easier time using the bucket when the faux hydraulic piston is not attached (you'll understand when you get the set). Still, it is a very attractive and useful toy with nice proportions. As a side tip, we've found that filling a low plastic bin with coarse corn meal makes a great indoor construction site; compared to sand, it is easier to clean up, it doesn't foul the toys, and it is simply not as dirty.
