The Lego Police Station set doubles as a fun individual set as well as the perfect mix and match set with many other Lego products like the City Fire Station. Within the 783 elements of the Police Station set, there are so many excellent features that we really enjoy.
Our favorite thing is keeping the bad guys in jail. It’s fun and exciting since there is a way for them to break out. It’s really within the details that makes this set so special. We love the police dog with his bone and bowl, the police vehicles, and of course the “criminals”.
This set allows for creativity and intuitive thinking, making Lego the best choice in presents we’ve made all year long. As we spent time putting it together, we noticed some great accessories like the evidence room, mug shots, handcuffs, and a very cool secret compartment. The modular pieces of this set also made it a lot easier and less time consuming to put it altogether. The helicopter landing pad, 2 jail cells, and the command center kept us motivated to enjoy the final product through our easy building process. It’s especially convenient to be able to play with the car’s accessories and just a small portion of the set while building it or on the go – and not having to dismantle the whole thing.
It feels like Lego paid special attention to this Police Station set from every aspect. They’ve made traveling with the product easier, building is easier, the pieces are fluid and work well with other sets, and the detail is absolutely priceless. We really appreciated the photos and simple text in the instruction manual as well. It really allows for kid’s creativity to flow with all of the moving parts, and space for parts from other sets to intertwine.
Since we’ve constructed it, it’s been used on a daily basis and all of the pieces stay together perfectly. We’ve added a helicopter to the set with hours of imagination and fun. We recommend this set to anyone.
